Brief about the Department :

     The department of MBA was established during the year 2007-2008 with the intake of 60 Students. The two year programme is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The intake has been increased from 60 to 120 in the year 2014.

     The Department undertakes a rigorous academic programme to ensure that students are always alert and dynamic.

VISION:

  • The department aims at providing to the nation, managers who are professionally competent, ethically conscious and socially responsible to cater to the present needs of the business & society.

MISSION:

  • To nurture Young students to be effective managers capable of adding value to organizations through Training in the field of Management and Business Administration.
  • Create a competitive environment for the students to upgrade their knowledge and sharpen their skills
  • To make students Employers rather than Employees.

Teaching Methodology:

     Though lecturing is the dominant method used for classroom instruction, printed handouts and visual displays usually complement it. The overhead projector and the LCD projector are used to make classroom presentations lively and for reaching the expectations of the student. Self-learning mechanisms are also encouraged by making it mandatory for the students to download information from the internet to submit periodical assignments, preparing company analysis reports, and project reports and make classroom representation in the form of Seminars in order to improve the subject and the communication level in order to compete with competitive corporate employment opportunities. Case study is one of the most frequently used method of teaching where the student can apply his learned concepts skills in the handling of real situation by taking an appropriate decisions which helps the student to develop Interpersonal skills, Problem solving skills and decision making skills in the corporate environment.
